Megan Toufexis

DO, P.A.

Dr. Toufexis completed her medical school training at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and was trained in adult psychiatry at the University of Rochester and then completed child psychiatry fellowship at University of South Florida where she served as chieff. After graduation she continued to work at USF as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and worked primarily at Rothman Center of Neuropsychiatry.

There she participated in multiple research studies, publications, medication consultation phone line for pediatricians, and supervised resident doctors. She also has worked at multiple treatment centers for eating disorders in the Tampa Bay area. Her areas of expertise include OCD, anxiety disorders, Tic disorders, PANS, eating disorders and women’s mental health. As mother of 3 she understands the day to day challenges for children and families and provides personalized care to each situation. She has begun to offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (TMS) to adults with depression.
